3904a39321 arm: mach-orion5x: use IOMEM() for base address definitions
We now define all virtual base address constants using IOMEM() so that
those are naturally typed as void __iomem pointers, and we do the
necessary adjustements in the mach-orion5x code.

Note that we introduce a few temporary additional "unsigned long"
casts when calling into plat-orion functions. Those are removed by
followup patches converting plat-orion functions to void __iomem
pointers as well.

2332656aec arm: mach-orion5x: use plus instead of or for address definitions
Since we are going to use IOMEM() to define many base virtual
addresses, we can no longer use binary or to define the individual
register addresses ("binary or" arithmetic on pointers is not
allowed). Instead, use the more conventional plus operator to do so.

The binary or operators were actually not useful because the low-order
bits of the base address were always zero, so the usage of the binary
or operators was effectively identical to a plus operator.

01464226ac ARM: make mach/gpio.h headers optional
Most platforms don't need mach/gpio.h and it prevents multi-platform
kernel images. Add CONFIG_NEED_MACH_GPIO_H and make platforns select it
if they need gpio.h. This is platforms that define __GPIOLIB_COMPLEX
or have lots of implicit includes pulled in by mach/gpio.h.

at91 and omap have gpio clean-up pending and can drop
CONFIG_NEED_MACH_GPIO_H once that is in.

0fa1f0609a ARM: Orion: Fix Virtual/Physical mixup with watchdog
The orion watchdog is expecting to be passed the physcial address of
the hardware, and will ioremap() it to give a virtual address it will
use as the base address for the hardware. However, when creating the
platform resource record, a virtual address was being used.

Add the necassary #define's so we can pass the physical address as
expected.

b5e12229a4 ARM: Orion5x - Restore parts of io.h, with rework
Commit 4d5fc58dbe (ARM: remove bunch of
now unused mach/io.h files) removed the orion5x io.h. Unfortunately,
this is still needed for the definition of IO_SPACE_LIMIT which
overrides the default 64K. All Orion based systems have 1Mbyte of IO
space per PCI[e] bus, and try to request_resource() this size. Orion5x
has two such PCI buses.

It is likely that the original, removed version, was broken. This
version might be less broken. However, it has not been tested on
hardware with a PCI card, let alone hardware with a PCI card with IO
capabilities.

Remove the now empty arch_reset() from all the mach/system.h includes,

For samsung platforms, remove the include of mach/system-reset.h and
plat/system-reset.h from their respective mach/system.h headers as these
just define their arch_reset functions. As a result, the s3c2410 and

a0b7bd0829 ARM: io: make iounmap() a simple macro
Defining iounmap() with arguments prevents it from being used as a
function pointer, causing platforms to work around this. Instead,
define it to be a simple macro.

Do the same for __arch_io(re|un)map too.

0ea1293009 arm: return both physical and virtual addresses from addruart
Rather than checking the MMU status in every instance of addruart, do it
once in kernel/debug.S, and change the existing addruart macros to
return both physical and virtual addresses. The main debug code can then
select the appropriate address to use.

This will also allow us to retreive the address of a uart for the MMU
state that we're not current in.

445f12dca8 [ARM] orion5x: Fix soft-reset for some platforms
Some platforms, such as the DNS-323 rev C requires the soft reset line
to be toggled on and back off for the reset to work.

Note: The choice of 200ms delay comes from the 2.6.12 based vendor kernel.
It seems to be a -lot- though and I had my device working fine with much
smaller delays but better safe...

4e6d488af3 ARM: 5910/1: ARM: Add tmp register for addruart and loadsp
Otherwise more complicated uart configuration won't be possible.
We can use r1 for tmp register for both head.S and debug.S.

NOTE: This patch depends on another patch to add the the tmp register
into all debug-macro.S files. That can be done with:

$ sed -i -e "s/addruart,rx|addruart, rx/addruart, rx, tmp/"

The name of the define for the Reset-Out-Mask register as well as its

closely). There is no functional change.

This patch prepares for adding orion5x_wdt as a platform device to

fdd8b079e3 [ARM] 5460/1: Orion: reduce namespace pollution
Symbols like SOFT_RESET are way too generic to be exported at large.
To avoid this, let's move the mbus bridge register defines into a
separate file and include it where needed. This affects mach-kirkwood,
mach-loki, mach-mv78xx0 and mach-orion5x simultaneously as they all
share code in plat-orion which relies on those defines.

Some other defines have been moved to narrower scopes, or simply deleted
when they had no user.

This fixes compilation problem with mpt2sas on the above listed
platforms.

be093beb60 [ARM] pass reboot command line to arch_reset()
OMAP wishes to pass state to the boot loader upon reboot in order to
instruct it whether to wait for USB-based reflashing or not. There is
already a facility to do this via the reboot() syscall, except we ignore
the string passed to machine_restart().

This patch fixes things to pass this string to arch_reset(). This means
that we keep the reboot mode limited to telling the kernel _how_ to
perform the reboot which should be independent of what we request the
boot loader to do.

dcea83adc6 [ARM] Hide ISA DMA API when ISA_DMA_API is unset
When ISA_DMA_API is unset, we're not implementing the ISA DMA API,
so there's no point in publishing the prototypes via asm/dma.h, nor
including the machine dependent parts of that API.

This allows us to remove a lot of mach/dma.h files which don't contain
any useful code. Unfortunately though, some platforms put their own
private non-ISA definitions into mach/dma.h, so we leave these behind
and fix the appropriate #include statments.

b5ee900258 [ARM] remove a common set of __virt_to_bus definitions
Let's provide an overridable default instead of having every machine
class define __virt_to_bus and __bus_to_virt to the same thing. What
most platforms are using is bus_addr == phys_addr so such is the default.

One exception is ebsa110 which has no DMA what so ever, so the actual
definition is not important except only for proper compilation. Also
added a comment about the special footbridge bus translation.

Let's also remove comments alluding to set_dma_addr which is not
(and should not) be commonly used.
