8c61936849 [CPUFREQ] Fix speedstep-smi CPU detection to not run on Pentium 4.
If someone inserts speedstep-smi on a mobile P4, it prevents other cpufreq
modules from loading until it is unloaded.

f081a529f8 [PATCH] cpufreq: speedstep-smi asm fix
Fix bug identified by Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>: the `out'
instruction depends upon the state of memory_data[], so we need to tell gcc
that before executing it. (The opcode, not gcc).

Fixes http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5553

Thanks to Antonio Ospite <ospite@studenti.unina.it> for testing.

1a10760c91 [CPUFREQ] Measure transition latency at driver initialization
The attached patch introduces runtime latency measurement for ICH[234]
based chipsets instead of using CPUFREQ_ETERNAL. It includes
some sanity checks in case the measured value is out of range and
assigns a safe value of 500uSec that should still be enough on
problematics chipsets (current testing report values ~200uSec). The
measurement is currently done in speedstep_get_freqs in order to avoid
further unnecessary transitions and in the hope it'll come handy for SMI
also.

ce38b51edf [CPUFREQ] Remove extra arg from dprintk in cpufreq/speedstep-smi.c
Minor fallout from my upcoming __attribute__((format(printf,x,y)))
patches. The variable 'result' is untouched, so this patch just removes
it.

6f4095af6d [CPUFREQ] speedstep-smi: it works on at least one P4M
The speedstep-smi driver actually works on >=1 notebook with a
Pentium 4-M CPU where all other cpufreq drivers fail. Therefore,
allow speedstep-smi on P4Ms again, but warn users of likely failure

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history,
even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git
archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about
3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.

Let it rip!
