ACPI fix for 3.11-rc7
- Revert a change in the ACPI video driver that caused the ACPI backlight initialization to be carried out even if acpi_backlight=vendor is passed in the kernel command line which turns out to break things at least on one system. / -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (GNU/Linux) iQIcBAABAgAGBQJSGM1kAAoJEKhOf7ml8uNsSz8P/jQUELpB6zmxWk1bp9khzQow /5ZDZ+2Im6Cg5uEMRCOu53S2xFKoQUaYGWbqAYxSz8cSaGhXMQ/7qZg8K7mjIazH y1yYiQwbRXT9flTZXcc1Kff09/6gtQV76Re0IjiBoNbb2EVcJWeirdbBEnF2Pmfl phmdQ6ZRsMvJDbrcNQufIPGBawT3B5SDk5kTmw8uuEADJGpQOAq1s0d4c59h4MV0 2I+pq8MVAbMX6QZVPT+sbr5fAFB/fjHakeLDR01pa157Qc6Ee0ktQNOdjKkFxdy2 uhItJ98tL3/NrCeZn4plh/Q1NHCrpFhWDHbXXT0/FQXB6qqm4GEIC2MvVr1U6kjo xjnDuDm07AVnhows9WJAuvyH8qC0okzvZg09wdZJhe3qJAiLzBPNClfwM7r1IcUa NGLnsnvb3+3KvCCaetzK1DmmDtV0ZLh6p03nyf4+GQTVUvPNGUVhUYVhVjt9w5HE UQLyNc4ti3A/kZ6kILrqaU09SrHBQfq3A/UhnCl0z9OtjYpd4PkSGfOe1dFv4xJY IEKpWQRO2wzNHIUsIpy1+YXA/Srp2nN3czxRBUmXMNc2oki7eIYeXBZ3wIWS8dyZ cLZYDc0SL8H+vivOIHNG6EKjCgjJO2MZGohaVExTl81mLXN+Fu0ufob3DNbLx4wi i2hJ6foIhudgZoiJbAuy =U8L0 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'acpi-3.11-rc7' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/rafael/linux-pm Pull ACPI fix from Rafael Wysocki: "I really hoped that it wouldn't be necessary to change anything in ACPI at this point, but it turns out that we need to revert one more ACPI video commit causing trouble. This reverts a change in the ACPI video driver that caused the ACPI backlight initialization to be carried out even if acpi_backlight=vendor is passed in the kernel command line which turns out to break things at least on one system" * tag 'acpi-3.11-rc7' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/rafael/linux-pm: Revert "ACPI / video: Always call acpi_video_init_brightness() on init"
